Staff Member of the Month

Mr. Madrigal is October's Staff Member of the Month.  He is always ready and willing to fix anything in the building. Even when it is not his assigned day at Vineland, he is always just a phone call away. Mr. Madrigal gladly does all kinds of jobs, from getting the air conditioning back up and running to hanging bookshelves and putting furniture together. He is a man of all trades!

Listeners / Oyentes Program

Training to become a Special Volunteer for the Listeners / Oyentes Program will be held at Vineland K-8 Center on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 9am - 12noon.

A Listener is a supportive special adult, not a fixer, rescuer or advisor. The goal of the Listener is to join the student's world without judgment. Listeners are not expected to solve the student's problems. The Listener is there to help build a student's positive self-esteem and empower the student to develop their own excellent problem-solving skills.

All Listeners have the opportunity to participate in a training session and monthly workshops to sharpen their listening skills.

Click here for more information about the Listener program or speak to Mrs. Moreland, School Counselor.

Please turn in your cards to the Main Office by Friday
