Staff Member of the Month
Mrs. Larson is December's Staff Member of the Month. She
is perfect teacher for a student's beginning career of learning at Vineland
K-8 Center. She loves her students and in turn they love school and
learning. Every day in Pre-K is like Disneyland. Students come
out of Pre-K ready for Kindergarten and some even ready for first
grade. Mrs. Larson is also always ready to help her fellow co-workers
with artsy ideas and with materials. She is also always there for
moral support as well. She is an awesome teacher!

For all literacy supporters, I have a special offer!
We have some books remaining from our used book sale that I would like to
put to good use. We have about 20 boxes of books for adults containing
suspense, romance, sci-fi, self help, etc. If you
know of a group who would like a box of books, please stop by the library
to take one (or more.) Suggestions such as the VA, homeless centers,
senior citizen centers, Goodwill, and libraries in need of book donations
have been made. If 20 people could take one box, we could move them out of
the library. You might even know of an organization who would like

Recycle Electronics & Raise Money for Education
I know Santa was very generous this Christmas. If your family found
some electronic goodies under the tree and needs to recycle the old ones we
have a place for them to go. Bring your old
Computers, Keyboards, LCDs, Monitors, Fax machines, Printers, Copiers,
Video Game Consoles, Cameras, Laptops, Camcorders, MP3 Players, VCRs, DVDs,
Cell Phones and Telephone Equipment to Vineland media center in January and
we will have them picked up by SIR International Recycling.
All proceeds go to the Superintendent's Foundation For New Education
Initiatives. Last year we recycled over 1,000 pounds. We want to keep
more electronics out of our landfills and raise money for education at the
same time. Go Green !
Thank you. I wish you and your family a new year full of health and
