There is no substitute for human blood.  When you donate blood with OneBlood, you are making an immediate contribution to the health and welfare of your community.  Blood is needed by patients facing planned and unplanned medical procedures, trauma victims, cancer patients and premature babies.  Your donation will help an ill or injured patient within a few days.  The turn-around is that fast, the need is constant.

Student Services Week the week of February 3-7, 2014, Miami-Dade County Public Schools celebrated Student Services Week. The intent of Student Services Week is to focus attention on the Student Services Program as an integral part of the total educational program at each school. The goal of Student Services is to consider individual uniqueness, to maximize the development of human potential, and to address the educational, personal/social, career/community awareness, and  health/wellness needs of all students. The ultimate purpose is to graduate students who are able to make self-directed, realistic, and responsible decisions, who are successful and who contribute positively to society.

Ms. Moreland & Ms. Tassler  Ms. Vaccaro & Ms. Vitier    Ms. Angelotti & Ms. Delgado

The Student Services mission and goals are realized by the following team members:

School Psychologist: Annette Angelotti

School Social Worker: Janet Delgado

The Student Services team thanks the Vineland community for allowing us to work with you to help the students at our fine school realize their full potential. Your support is invaluable and enables us to do our job. We collaborate, provide direct service, enter classrooms, work with groups, go through the SST/RtI process together, run whole school programs (Character Education, Red Ribbon Week, Connect With Respect bullying curriculum, Health and Nutrition activities, Moving On / Transition curriculum, Celebrate Kindness: No Name Calling Week, No Place for Hate, the Great Kindness Challenge, Mix It Up, NJHS Mentoring, Strong Women Strong Girls, Career Day...) and do our best to ensure that the village is raising the child.

We look forward to continuing the excellent cooperation we have built thus far.
