It was a very very tough decision
in the Boosterthon decorating contest. Thanks to
all the classes that participated!
The judges especially loved seeing the students' artwork and
handwriting on display in these honorable mentions:
Irigoyen, Fernandez, Carter, Foote, Delgado and
Christopher. It was great to see so many Upper Academy decorations
After much discussion, the judges chose as the winner... Ms.
it was such a hard choice to make, an extra award was created... The High Five Award goes to 5th grade for their
collaborative wall mural. They are getting an ice cream party!!

THE RIGHT THING WINNERS!
3rd Grade Ms. Gonzalez
Alejandro is a great
pleasure to teach. He is an excellent student who cares about his grades
and success in school. In addition is kind to his peers. He also is polite
and willing to help me or others with anything that is needed.
Ashton Finnieston- 6th Grade
Ashton volunteered to help our third grade class install our
rain barrel. He went above and beyond. He made sure our students remained
safe and did not get too close to the drill and other tools. They were
unable to install the rain barrel correctly and safely, so Ashton
volunteered to take it home and redesigned the barrel so we could safely
collect rain near our garden. We are very proud of Ashton and grateful for
