Staff Member of the Month

Mrs. Sanchez is November's Staff Member of the Month.
Mrs. Sanchez is always willing to assist teachers above what her daily duties require.  She helps run copies, laminate projects, and file papers in the office as well.  She knows every single child by name and takes time to deal with their individual problems.  She knows many of the parents and grandparents as well.  Mrs. Sanchez is always eager to help out wherever she can around the school.

New Webinar on Common Core Standards

National PTA Releases New Webinar: Mythbusters

National PTA is pleased to announce the release of the second in a four-part webinar series designed to educate parents on the Common Core State Standards and empower them to support the transition at school and at home. Their goal is for parents to be knowledgeable about the standards and new assessments and to support them every step of the way as states transition to the standards.

Common Core State Standards: Mythbusters (webinar) provides an overview of the biggest myths and misconceptions surrounding the standards and information that will help parents separate fact from fiction.
Click on the links above to learn more and view the webinar.

Shoparoo in December

This holiday season, Shoparoo is accepting receipts from more of your favorite retailers!

For the first time ever, Shoparoo-ers will be able to earn donations from receipts outside the grocery world. From now until the end of December, Vineland will get 20 Roo Points every time you snap a receipt from one of the stores below.

All of your normal grocery-related receipts (including those from your favorite toy, pet, beauty, and baby stores) will still earn Roo Points like they always do.

Click here to see a list of the retailers.
